The exterior of the house has been hand sanded down to the heart Pine and a solid body stain used to seal the wood, making the maintenance on the outside very easy and affordable. The house is on the Florida Historic Registry and has a great blend of old and new making it very comfortable, yet maximizing the antiquity. Recent updates include a new 6-ton Lennox HVAC, put in in 2022, a whole house replumb in 2001, a new septic system in 2018. Wind mitigation shutters belong to all the windows and openings and are hurricane rated. Electrical system meets all code requirements. The duct work related to the HVAC system, is stainless steel with a round shape for better air flow, with additional aluminum coil. Only air care professional grade filters have been used making the ducts very clean.
